Tieh-chih Chang is a prominent Taiwanese writer who writes about politics, culture, and music. He is currently a columnis for the Financial Times Chinese site, and his column has appeared in major media in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and internationally. Mr. Chang was chief editor of City magazine in Hong Kong, and was responsible for founding the Bloomberg Businessweek magazine in Chinese in both Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is now the chief consultant of Business Next Magazine, chief consultant and curator of YueYue bookstore, and the co-founder of The Reporter - a new organization devoted to in-depth reporting. Mr. Chang has published several books and numerous articles on culture, social activism and rock music, including “Sounds and Fury : Can Rock’n’Roll Change the World?” Mr. Chang draws from his bountiful experience to share his insight on contemporary culture and developments of the Chinese-speaking world.
