Lina Chang
Lina Chang was born and raised in Yangmei, a small predominately Hakka town in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Lina was exposed to all aspects of Hakka culture from a young age, particularly through the influence of her mother and grandmother who instilled in Lina a deep affection for Hakka culture and cuisine. Since immigrating to Canada in 1985, Lina has aspired to enrich both her life and the lives of others by participating in numerous cultural and community organizations in Vancouver. Lina formerly served as the president of the Western Canada Taiwanese Artists Society, and is currently serving as the president of the Vancouver Taiwan Hakka Association. In her spare time, Lina enjoys painting and teaching art. Lina also likes to write and has contributed articles to the local Chinese language newspaper.
